Utrecht Weekend Guide 13, 14 & 15 September

Art Route Straatweg

On Saturday 14 September the very first Amsterdamsestraatweg art route will take place. Entrepreneurs offer 19 artists space to exhibit their work in front of the public. All participating artists, representing various disciplines, are active or live around the Amsterdamsestraatweg. Expect: visual arts, dance and performance arts. The route starts at Paardenveld and continues to the Marnixlaan. Children can follow creative workshops. And visitors can get music lessons at music store Dirk Witte.

Uitfeest and official opening De Kargadoor

Sunday 15 September De Kargadoor will open its doors during the Uitfeest. During the celebration of the cultural season, the official opening of the renovated foyer and the new Aksiepodium will be celebrated. The regular guests of De Kargadoor will pass in review. On the list: Comedyhuis Club, De Komijnen, duo Van Piekeren and jazz by Tweetet. In the Grote Zaal Stut Theater will give a sneak-peek of their new performance ‘BuitenGewoon’, which will premiere this autumn. All go to De Kargadoor.

Slow Flow Walk

Would you like to escape from the city for a few hours on Sunday? Want to drink tea at a dreamy location? In the beautiful forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug (exact location will follow upon registration) Klanck Mindfulness offers you a wonderfully relaxing program. You will be taken in tow by mindfulness trainer Daniel Versteegh. Daniel is also a shepherd in the area and knows nature like the back of his hand. Together we walk along romantic meadows and impressive avenues. Explore Utrecht, co-organizer, also participates in this Slow Flow Walk.
