Smeerboel 2016 – a disgustingly good party

While the temperature rose to a nearly tropical point, the party at Smeerboel last Saturday was even hotter! On the other side of the Amsterdam – Rhine canal a playground arose, where a fair amount of locals had congregated to party.

Smeerboel does not break its promise of being a ‘playground for adults’. There’s glitter everywhere, people are climbing on wooden constructions, sliding down water slides, playing twister or just plain old getting down to the music.

The music works as a time machine as it blasts you to a past of MSN Messenger and shaking your (pre-)teen buttocks to Sean Paul. At the end of the night, when FeestDJRuud starts blasting his horribly amazing tunes, the crowd goes wild! Including oversized inflatable beer bottles and beach balls. A recipe for chaos and fun! If you’d like to take it a little more slow, there are also options for you. Why don’t you try a dip in an old timer converted into a hot tub?

Just like every year, Smeerboel was a disgustingly good party. Check out the video on Youtube! Will you be joining us next year?
