I find buying presents a serious and sometimes time-consuming activity. Luckily in Utrecht it won’t take to long to find a suitable gift because the city offers plenty of shops where you can succeed. But hey, what do you do if you don’t have time to look for an appropriate gift? Or totally don’t feel like it because you prefer lounging at a wine-bar sipping a glass of delicious wine? Story of my life! Well, then I go to Keck & Lisa located on the Zadelstraat. Whether you’re looking for a personal birthday present, a funny thank you gift or a nice house warming gift, success is guaranteed!
The cutest shop on the Zadelstraat
Keck & Lisa is located in the Zadelstraat for more then eighteen years. The store is located in a beautiful building on the corner of Mariaplaats and the Zadelstraat. The Zadelstraat must be the most the photographed Street in Utrecht, because of the excellent view on the pride of the city: the DOM Tower. At this prime location Keck & Lisa, one of the most fun gift shops of Utrecht, offers a carefully selected collection of gifts and the coolest gadgets.

In the shop you will also find interior items to decorate your home. You can make it as cosy as you want. What about a large gold pineapple for on the coffee table, or cute candle lights for the dresser? Maybe a basket to store all the gadgets you have lying around the house?
Keck & Lisa offers loads for the kitchen as well. From funny (egg) timers, to nice retro tins, and trash cans by SimpleHuman, they have it all. Which could be dangerous because you could end up with a house full of Keck & Lisa! But that wouldn’t be the worst thing, because just like the collection the prices are very fine. That means you won’t break the bank for shopping season, and you’ll probably leave the shop with a full bag, a happy face, and walking in the direction of the nearest wine-bar to reward yourself for finding the perfect gift.
If you don’t want to leave the house you can also shop from the comfort of your own home by browsing the web-shop. Although, the selection is not as extensive as the shop on the Zadelstraat.
