It’s June! Do the days fly by or is it just me? Guess its time for a new Insta Round Up. May was an incredibly busy month for Utrecht. Every weekend was jam-packed with events such as; Fonteyn Festival, TREK, Jazz Festival, cultural Sunday and much more. Many new hotspots opened in May, some of them I have visited of course. A few are still on the ‘ to do ‘ list for June. The blog about Zwart Goudis the best read and is noted on the scoreboard. Other new spots are LOOF on the Domplein and LUC in the Center. May was also filled with great meetings, as for example a cosy breakfast session at Cornelis and a delicious lunch at Goesting. Explore Utrecht together with Staatsbosbeheer organises an Instameet at Fort Rhijnauwen and the Science Park. So be on the look out for a large group of Instagrammers that will be exploring these parts of Utrecht. Also, we are on the hunt for Miffy statues during the Miffy Parade. My favorite statue stands in the garden of my neighbors, Grand Hotel Karel V. On the last Friday of the month we were spoiled with gorgeous sunny weather. Perfect for a night on the terrace of Speck on the Ledig Erf. Finally I had a good reason to visit this hotspot. I’m curious what June will bring us, I’m hoping for beautiful summer weather.
