Last week we graced the festival By the Creek in Vianen. After a bike ride of about 45 minutes, we were at the festival drinking a refreshing cold beer. The first set of “By the Creek ‘was sunny and crowded – with loads of happy people exploring the festival grounds in excitement.
The festival was split into four sets, each with their own genre. This setup was to create a festival for all music lovers – and not one mainstream public. The stages represented were: R & B and Hip Hop tunes by Filthy, Techno beats by Basic, Under the tunnel, and happy house by Sea Salt – that one was staged on the water where you could dance with your feet in the water.
The festival was more than music and dancing though. Food trucks, a swing, soccer field, ping-pong table and a small market were there to explore when your dancing feet needed a break. All in all, we wish we could spend every Sunday like this.
