Easter brunch in Utrecht | 4x brunch spots

Easter is just around the corner, and if you’re anything like me, then that means two things: chocolate and brunch. And lucky for us, there are plenty of places to get great brunch this Easter! (And chocolate too, of course, but I figure you’ve already got that covered…) Word to the wise: once you’ve made your pick, reserve fast to avoid heartbreak.

Anne & Max

The doors of Anne & Max will open on both 1st and 2nd Easter day from 9:00. The sweet crew prepares the coffee that you can drink with all the goodies on the Easter shelf. What’s on the shelf? Different kinds of bread, savoury and sweet toppings, oeuvre and cocotte, Greek yoghurt with fruit and granola. Nice, isn’t it?


A hidden gem near the Willem van Noortplein. Tijm is an urban jungle where you immediately feel at home. Take a game out of the closet and make it a cosy afternoon during the Easter days. Tijm serves: pancakes and croissants with scrambled eggs with salmon or cheese of your choice. Order a mimosa or fresh oj. You even get a hot drink. Reservations can be made for 2 persons or more. Send an email to! Brunch is €15 per person.


Karibu serves a brunch buffet consisting of many goodies, such as: pancakes, croissants, yoghurt with fresh fruit and granola, scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, black beans, bacon and much more. Buffet is on Sunday and Monday from 9.30 to 15.00. Make sure you’re early because it’s not possible to make a reservation. Easter breakfast / brunch is €15 per person (excluding drinks).

The Streetfood Club

Put your stretch pants on for this brunch, because you get a discount on all brunch dishes! But you have to meet the following conditions:
1. brunch from Monday to Friday from 11.00 to 16.00
2. take a snapshot of your dish and share it on Instagram
3. show the post at checkout and get a 50% discount on all brunch dishes
Perfect tip for Good Friday and Easter Monday wouldn’t you say!
