Take the kids during the holiday to the best museum in Utrecht? That is of course in the first place on this list. And, the Railway Museum is also great fun for adults. Leave those kids at home 😉 With a special passport, you have access to many special destinations. Each destination is filled in by another museum or cultural institution. This year the special passport will take you past windmills, Rembrandt, the past, art movement De Stijl, taste, and spatial design. In addition, the kids will have a great time with all the trains and fun experiments you can find in the museum. The best trip in the Netherlands can be visited from 22 February to 1 March.

Tell me your story
From 8 February | Kunsthal Kade, Amersfoort

Marit van Cultuursnuiver already tipped off the new exhibition at Kunsthal Kade in her 6x culture tips in February at Explore Utrecht. The Kunsthal Kade presents one hundred years of storytelling by African-American artists. With for many probably not so well known artists. Sunday is the perfect day to take your time and discover something new. The exhibition starts with the twenties, also known as the Harlem Renaissance. And shows the richness of black culture. Think of theatre, music, and literature. The exhibition is full of visual art. Curious about this exhibition? Here you’ll find all the information about ‘Tell me your story‘.

Address: Kunsthal Kade
Eemplein 77
Opening hours: 11:00 – 17:00
